Preschool A.M. Program
At preschool, the children learn through play. They learn how to co-operate with others, take turns, attend to activities, become self-reliant, enhance their vocabulary, and discover new concepts. We offer a quality program that promotes the child’s physical, intellectual, language, emotional, and social growth.
Our programs follow a thematic approach to learning. We offer a variety of activities, free choice and structured, relating to a specific theme. Theme topics include animals, dinosaurs, seasons, holidays, community helpers, families, fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The children’s activities consist of many aspects of learning which include numbers, letters, colours, and shapes.
Ages 18 months – 30 months
Our toddler program offers a well-supervised, creative environment with age appropriate activities (such as art, music and free play) for children 18 – 30 months, which promote social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills. 1-Day Program Monday 9:00 — 11:30 a.m.
Ages 27 months – 5 years
This program is a good introduction to your child’s first school experience. It promotes social learning, as well as teaching your child to become self-reliant and responsible. It also introduces your child to colours, shapes, numbers, and letters. 1 to 4-Day Program Tuesday - Friday 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages 3 – 5 years
This program offers enhanced learning classes for children ages 3 – 5 years, which promotes social learning and offers a learning plan to meet each child’s individual needs. This program would focus on the alphabet, numbers, and skills that would prepare a child for JK or enhance what a child is learning in JK/SK.
1 or 2 Days per week Wednesday and/or Friday 12:30 – 3:00 P.M
Ages 3 – 4 years (acceptance based on assessment)
This program prepares children for Junior Kindergarten. It focuses on a variety of concepts such as colours, shapes, numbers, letters, sizes, patterning, same & different, opposites, and rhyming words. It also introduces children to printing and pre-math skills.
2-Day Program Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 — 3:00 p.m.
